There's not a whole to be said about Elnissa, other than that it's a great zone for new heroes to begin learning the ins and outs of equipment runs. There's some decent newbie equipment: 5/5 ice sword, 3/3 ring, 5/3 armbands, and a 40+ mana ring.
Because of !sneak rooms and the fact that the mobs aren't too difficult, I recommend soloing the run. Bring others only if you like to clear each room as you go. To start, fly Elnissa.
- From landing: fly n 5, walk 5 e and 3 s. Fly s 1. Or walk through the maze if you like wasting time.
- North, w, 3n, search, e, 2u, 2s, e, pull lever. Walk back outside to the middle @ at the front.
- North, e, get key wagon, 2w, n, kill Demesne for coat.
- East, unl/open door n, n, w, kill warrior with key (mob does wander). Key on the ground isn't required. A different mob will rush in if you pick it up, and you'll have to kill it or port to get out of the room.
- East, n, w (!sneak room), e, 3s, open door e, east. You're in the library now.
- North, w, all s, e, n, kill the animated book with "gold-plated bookmark". Also find & kill apprentice (jeweled key) who wanders in the library. Head out of the library and back into the hallway.
- Open door west, 2w, s, 2w, get key on the ground. Head back to hallway.
- South, u, n, unl/open door w, 3w, kill blacksmith (pry bar). He can summon golems that will attack you. They don't hit too hard, but you can blind them and flee if necessary.
- All e, s, d, all n, unl/open door e, e, s, w. Shield room, blind any wolves in the room and then dispel/kill Jennimira (iron key).
- Open door w, w, 3u, hold/use bar, u. Shield room first and kill the hawks if there are any. Then dispel/kill Durness (ice-cold steel key).
- West, unl/open chest, get ladder chest.
- East, all d, 2e, n, w, s, unl/open door e, e. Hold ladder, use ladder. Two up, w, u, kill gremlin (vademecum). Unl/open/get all (cold stone key) vademecum. Down, e, 2d.
- West, all s, u, all n, wear coat (necessary to enter the cold rooms). Unl/open door n, n, 2w, 2n, e, get 1.icicle (key). The other icicles are junk. If for some reason, all the icicles have been rearranged, you can id each one to and see which is the key.
- West, 2s, 2e, 4n, w, shield room, unl/open door w, w, dispel/kill Lomastian (leopard-shaped key).
- Two east, all s, remove coat/put on regular about, d, all n, e, s, w, tick full.
- Unl/open doors n, all n, all u, dispel/kill Elnissa. It'll help if you plague and blind it first. Make sure to have wimpy on, too. The queen has a cold proc that does a decent amount of damage.
Extras:
- Gryphon's gold (275k) - from Elnissa's throne, all d, 1 s, kill the gryphon (!bs). Get shard corpse. East, search, get all.
- Sack of gold (300k) - from the middle @ of zone, all n, w, 2n, get head. s, e, all s, u, 2n, open door e, e, hold head, use head, e, get sack (weights 150 stones).
- Moscula's ring - from Step 4 above, e, n, w (!sneak room), e, s, door w, search, all s, 4e, 3n, look holes, walk back to room before search. East, 2s, o door e, e, n, e, n, e, s, dis/kill Moscula. Shield room north as he'll chase.
- Moscula's scroll & potions - from sack of gold, all w, o door w, w, 2w, unl/open hatch (moscula's key), up.
- Jeweled box (25k) - from Scroll of Might, d, 2e, n, pick/open door w, w, get box.
- Map case & sanc goblet (aq items) - get key on the ground from Step 4. A mob named Komarin will rush in the room. Kill him so you can leave the room. E, n, search, all d, s, o door w, w, kill Gorland for the map case. One of Gorland's keys (fortress master key) opens the Tactical Room that's north of the library. The goblet loads in there.
- Komarin's treasure (30k) - from the guardroom where he rushes in, e, s, w, unl/open/get all strongbox.
- Sapphire & leopard claws (3/3 hands) - from Jennimira's room (Step 9), o door s, 2s, 2w, unl/open door (Elnissa's key),
n. Kill Kiros (!bs) for claws, pelts (component), medallion (dr/str neck). Open/get all clock. Open/get key pillow. Unlock/open
door n. Get boot (mana/str) on the ground.
